Rockin’ Heart’s Tough Love
Here is Rockin’ Heart Ranch’s first born heart throb… Rockin’ Heart’s Tough Love, aka Gunsmoke, out of Clio and Pippo’s first litter. Gunsmoke, and my son, Jamin, who loves to hunt, formed an immediate bond and were inseparable for many years as a fabulous team in the field. Gunsmoke is also a stunning mover, with both his mother and father being multiple Best in Show dogs, and he easily followed in their footsteps.
His unbelievable, deep red coloring is not possible to appreciate in these photos… in real life he is a deep almost Irish Setter red. His head is lean and clean with lovely planes, and those ears! His topline is flat and strong and his movement is smooth and correct…he cannot put a foot down wrong.
We are so proud of our homebred, International Champion. He has had a most successful career as a show dog and was hard to beat in the rare breed ring, always attracting the judge’s attention. But his favorite thing to do is still go hunting in the field. His motto is, “a bunny in every pot!”
