Vito Dell'Ovo and Rockin' Heart's Poniente winning at the first AKC shows
here in the Pacific Northwest in Jan 2012.
After waiting for a decade to be able to showcase our beloved Cirnechi in AKC events, in Jan 2012 we were finally allowed to show in Misc. So off to Seattle and Puyallup we went. Vito and Poni were presented at the shows where some of the judges remarks to be heard were as follows:
"What lovely dogs, so happy to see them here."
"How did you get such high quality dogs in such a rare breed?"
"I judged this breed in Europe and Italy and these two dogs are stunningly beautiful representatives of this breed!"
Among the many other kind remarks that were shared with us by judges and other exhibitors alike. Clearly people were charmed by the dogs and it was a lovely time, made all the most sweet by the many years we have waited for this opportunity to show case our darling dogs. We will look forward to many more shows where people can see and experience this ancient breed's charming and engaging personalities in person.

Coursair and Nadine
In May of 2011 we were blessed by the addition of not one, but TWO lovely boys from Europe!
Our dear, sweet friends, Yolanda and Nadine Lombardo, blessed us with a lovely male puppy, Swiss Lombardo's Coursair. Lovely Nadine made her first visit to America to deliver this beautiful young boy to us and then she spent the summer with us on the ranch working with the dogs and the horses. What a lovely time we had! This beautiful young boy is not only blessed with natural elegance but with an especially beautiful face, and a sweet natured, endearing personality. Due to an unfortunate, disfiguring accident Coursair will not be shown in conformation. But he is a racing fanatic and he will shine in Lure Coursing. We adore him.

Vito Dell'Ovo
Also, dear friends Marco Belfiore and Laura Majorana from Sicily were kind enough to allow our son Jacob to visit them and bring home a most stunning male puppy, Vito Dell'Ovo! The exciting young male has already strutted his stuff by winning all of his first Best of Breeds and then onto the Misc Group wins. He is an amazing mover, very correct and has remarkable ring presence and style... so much so that he already has already attracted the attention of another admirer and Co-owner.... dear friend Janise Gray could not resist him! She was so excited to be a part of this amazingly beautiful young dog's show career that she insisted on being one of his main supporters. Janise is now his new co-owner and the 'other mother' to this impressive young boy.

In Nov. 2011, Fly Boy repeated his dazzling performance to win another BIF in the ASFA Regional Lure Coursing Invitational, adding two more BIF's to his resume! The other competitors in the Northwest are kind in saying, "The amazing FlyBoy is the dog that makes the whippets tremble!" His running style, speed and passion is extremely consistent and year after year is he continues to be exemplary runner. The test of a prepotent sire is in his offspring. He is now siring litters that are winning top honors in the show ring in tough AKC competitions, including multiple Misc Group wins, and also tremendous racing offspring where his passionate and sound running style are being displayed by his offspring!
Truly this lovely dog has exceeded all of our expectations; he has been not only a history making racing dog, a phenomenal show dog with his many Best in Shows wins and now an amazingly prepotent sire.

HAPPY NEWS: In Nov, 2010, the amazing International Champion, Best
in Show, Are But Not's Frequent Flyer, Field Champion, aka FlyBoy won
the ASFA Regional Lure Coursing Invitational, Best In Field! This was
one of many BIF's for the amazing FlyBoy who bested several other top
winning and BIF dogs that were entered. He not only won BIF in the
Invitational, but he also went BIF the next day as well. He is
something of a legend here in the Pacific Northwest, with other
competitors as well as the Judges commenting over and over again, what
a lovely running dog he is as well as a kind and workman like dog.
This amazing dog has won everything we have entered him in from. He
has to date, multiple Best in Shows as well as many BIFs.

Cirneco Nationals in Houston , TX. The trip to Nationals was rewarded with top wins in their classes by all three of the girls. We had a wonderful time, getting to see some lovely dogs and meet with other Cirnechi fanciers!
Our new male Cirneco dell'Etna will be arriving just in time to spend his first Christmas in America with his new family. Our happy thanks to Annikki for allowing our dear little Belpasso to come to America to live on our farm with the girls. 'Belpasso' is to be personally escorted in to the U.S by Nancy and Jael on return from there trip to Europe.]
