2002 chestnut, white/flaxen, straight Egyptian filly

(Thee Desperado x Chelima)

This filly is the culmination of my desire for a filly out of our lovely Chelima and Thee Desperado.  With three full brothers that are gorgeous and successful, this filly has big shoes to fill.  Did we mention big? She was born a whopping 124lbs according to the scale at WSU Veterinary Hospital!  She was nearly the death of her dam and now we are enjoying the miracle of her.

'Chelly'  is huge, very tall, and built with a lot of body, exceptionally nice legs and bone, and a face to die for.  She is as sweet and people-orientated as all of this cross have been, with the extravagance of motion that this cross is noted for.  She is already turning white flaxen, (both her full brothers that are chestnut are veritable palominos) and shows every promise of being a top show filly, not to mention a breeding mare with endless possibilities.

With Thee Desperado's book closed to straight Egyptian mares, this filly is one with limitless potential to make her new owner's farm -- Michele Spain of Golden MorningStar Arabians--famous.  Shawn Crews has stated that some of the best offspring by Thee Desperado have been out of *Ansata Ibn Halima bred mares and  'Chelly' gives every indication that she will be one of the best.
