Accommodations

Participants will live on the ranch in comfortable private quarters, with the owners, staff and horses nearby, while attending sessions of one to two weeks up to three months. Sessions are designed to enable participants to be available and involved in all of the daily routine and care of the horses and young stock.

All meals will be provided, mostly home cooked with ranch raised beef as a staple and chocolate as a mainstay. These may be taken in a family style environment with the owners and staff who love to share their gorgeous ranch, beautiful horses and their knowledge of the horse industry with guests.

Rockin' Heart Ranch, Ltd. is located in the Palouse region of North Idaho in the midst of some of the most scenic and beautiful country in America . National Geographic lists the Palouse region as one of the ten most beautiful areas of America.

Having two agricultural universities--Washington State University and University of Idaho--within 30 miles offers additional social, recreational, and educational opportunities.

Washington State University's Veterinary Teaching Hospital affords participants the opportunity to be involved with the ranch horses on the cutting edge in veterinary technology. The Veterinary School's world class facilities and it's wonderful roster of clinicians can provide first-hand exposure to the latest offerings in equine reproduction, embryo transfer and many other veterinary services as are needed by our show horses.
